Basic equipment and little helpers for everyday life: What do you need and what don't you need

Young parents should acquire basic equipment before the birth. We have our own initial equipment checklist for this in Babyland. This includes the clothing, everything you need for on the go, for feeding, bathing, sleeping, .... What young parents need in everyday life with a baby also depends a little on their own feelings. If I like to be out and about, I need an appropriate pram, a baby carrier, ... If I prefer to be at home, I need things that are practical in my own four walls. If you look at the individual topics, you will find the right little helpers for you

toys

The toy trend is definitely right, less is more, natural materials instead of plastic. Today's parents prefer toys that are silent or noise-reduced and more pastel tones. Babies, on the other hand, love noises, squeaking, crackling, ringing bells... In the first few months they find black and white contrasts exciting, then the complementary colors become interesting, especially red and orange.

How do I organize my everyday life with a baby

Everyday life with a baby is a challenging topic at the beginning. The first few weeks in particular are particularly shaped by finding your own rhythm. For example, no visitors have to come if it doesn't fit (quite contrary to traditional ideas). It is also important to have helping hands that can provide support and that you slowly start to "build" a network of people who can step in in an emergency (no matter what the situation may be) - in the household and in baby care.
